How to play Who Knows Me Best
Guests answer questions about the guest of honor, then compare their responses with a private key completed in advance. The highest number of matches wins.
Materials and setup
Print a guest sheet for each player and one host key. Ask the guest of honor to answer privately before the party, and keep the key hidden.
Play steps
- Guests write one answer for each question without consulting others.
- The guest of honor or host reads the true answers.
- Players mark one point for each exact or clearly equivalent match.
- Highest score wins; the guest of honor decides ambiguous matches.
Host tips and variants
Choose questions the group can reasonably know and avoid sensitive history. Couples can answer for each other, or teams can agree on one shared response before the reveal.
Example round
The key says the guest of honor's favorite snack is popcorn. “Caramel popcorn” is a match; “chips” is not, unless the guest of honor confirms both were intended.
Design note
The separate key prevents players from seeing answers early and makes the guest of honor part of the reveal rather than a passive subject.
